The Dance Shoppe - Dance Attire

Ballet: Age 3 to 4yrs - For this age the uniform is not enforced but most dancers will wear a solid colour body suit, (black, blue or pink). Pink Ballet tights or bare legs with white ankle socks. Hair if possible is to be in a bun or pulled back off the face. Pink Ballet shoes are to be worn. A Ballet wrap skirt/tutu may be worn to class.

Ballet: Age 5 and up- a navy blue Mondor Tank bodysuit with pinch in the front, style # 3033. Pink Ballet tights and Pink Ballet shoes are to be worn. Hair must be in a proper bun, with hair net and bobby pins. A ballet wrap skirt may be worn for Friday and Saturday ballet classes only.

Ballet: Boys- a solid white T- shirt. Black bike pants or leggings. Black or White Ballet shoes and Black or White Socks.

Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theater: any colour body suit or tights. Must be suitable for dancing. Hair- ponytail or bun. Shoes: Jazz 5/6yrs –bare feet - Jazz 7yrs and higher, Hip Hop and Musical Theater -a black jazz oxford.

Tap:  any colour body suit and tights. Must be suitable for dancing. Hair – ponytail or bun. Black Tap Shoes are required.

Acro-Jazz/Tumbling: any colour body suit or tights. Hair- ponytail or bun. Bare feet are required.

Students not properly attired may observe, but will not be allowed to participate in class.
